STAND UP COMEDY CLASS: Starts Wednesday, June 26, 2019 and runs on Wednesdays for 6 weeks – 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Learn how to write and crisply deliver solid material. Class limited to 6 students. LITTLE CRAZIES SUMMER BOOT CAMP: One week class starts Monday, June 24th through Friday, June 28th. Class will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon each day with a showcase performance on Friday at 1:00 p.m. All kids ages 10-15 are welcome to participate. Class will focus on fundamentals of improv comedy, basic acting techniques, stage movement, how to incorporate improv comedy skills into a performance, how to gain self confidence and loosen inhibitions.

ALL IMPROV COMEDY CLASS – ALL LEVELS: Tuesday/Thursday, starting Tuesday, July 16/Thursday, July 18, 2019– 3 weeks-7 sessions. 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Class size limited. This class rounds out the series on the 7th session with a graduation showcase.

FINDING THE PUNCHLINESome aspiring comics have great ideas and concepts for material, but many do not know how to drive their ideas to a satisfying, hard-hitting punchline. Join this one-day class on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., where you will learn the tricks and strategies for finding each and every appropriate ending to each of your jokes – your joke beats and  segments. Class size is limited to 6 students. 

STAND UP/STAND OUTTuesday Yep, there are many funny people who do stand up comedy, but in today’s competitive comedy world, it takes more than being the funny gal/guy. It requires uniqueness. Sounds reasonable and surely you can think of many comics who are memorable, but why is it that they are? What makes them different from the rest? Find out in our one-day class on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., where we will help you discover your stand up comedy “brand”  – in terms of your delivery, your material, and, your style! Standing out takes awareness, creativity, and a thoughtful probe. Join us for this unusual stand up comedy class.



During the past 29 years, the Orange County Crazies has become an enviable institution as it remains the longest-running and most prominent organization of its kind in the county of Orange. Based in Santa Ana, California, the O.C. Crazies school and the quality of its classes are unmatched; its student performances crowd-pleasing. Since its inception, it has garnered stellar reviews and a number of awards for its original and creative works, as well as for its unparalleled school of comedy. In addition to the OC Crazies lively 78-seat theater at the De Pietro Performance Center, Santa Ana, Calif., the Crazies also now offers a screening room, as well, for fledgling filmmakers who need an affordable venue to show their works.

The Orange County Crazies offers classes in both Improv Comedy and Stand-up Comedy in addition to classes on how to write and perform sketch and stand up comedy material, and how to create and develop original characters. Classes include one-day workshops and also evening four-week and six-week (once or twice weekly) courses. most of which culminate in a graduation performance showcase. Children’s workshops are also available.

The De Pietro Performance Center is also available to rent for shows, classes, special events and concerts to those in the theatrical, music and arts communities, and also to businesses for presentations, seminars, trainings and award ceremonies.
