TEEN IMPROV
Saturdays 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. starting September 19 – October 24 (6 SESSIONS)
Crazie Teens! The OC Crazies will be offering “Teen Improv” starting September 19 – October 24 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the De Pietro Performance Center. Teens will perform the last day of class or the following weekend. Enrollment is limited. Class will run for 6 Saturday afternoons. Crazies encourage the crazy teens to go crazy by exploring their creativity and imaginations. In this class, we encourage impulsivity as the teens are urged to fly by the seat of their pants! Tuition $525.

INTERMEDIATE STANDUP
Mondays 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting September 21 – October 26 (6 SESSIONS)
Take your standup routine to the next level with this Crazie class! Learn to punch up your set–both content and delivery, though emphasis is in pushing your brand and unique style and making sure every line you deliver packs a punch!! This Crazies course will challenge your creativity, generating new ideas to smooth out what you’ve already written or help you “stretch” and expand on what you already have. The class will also put heavy emphasis on your delivery, giving you techniques for a more sophisticated and hard-hitting delivery style. Lots of fun in this class while we also study the work of well-known comics.

Punch up, revamp, and upgrade your written material. Are your audiences laughing continuously throughout your set? Are you getting applause breaks and hearty applause at the end of your set? If “no” to these questions, learn how to tighten up your set with more hard-hitting content, a better joke build, and joke beats that will ensure stronger audience response as you cap off your set. The Orange County Crazies offers classes in Improv, Stand-up, Sketch Comedy, and Workshops on how to develop Original Characters as well as workshop on filmmaking. The Orange County Crazies also offer Tween and Teen classes, as well as comedy writing classes. Courses range from weekly sessions to one-day weekend classes, and one-week classes. Graduation performances follow each class series. The OC Crazies conduct all classes and shows on-site at The De Pietro Performance Center in Santa Ana in its 78-seat, black-box theater.
Over the past 34 years, the Orange County Crazies has become an enviable institution as it remains the longest-running and most prominent organization of its kind in the County of Orange. Based in Santa Ana, California, the O.C. Crazies school and the quality of its classes are unmatched, and the student performances are crowd-pleasing. The organization was founded by Cherie Kerr, a founding member of the famed L.A. Groundlings, who has served as the organization’s Artistic Director since the non-profit comedy organization’s inception. Since its inception, the Crazies has garnered stellar reviews and numerous awards for its original and creative works, as well as for its unparalleled school of comedy.
